昨晚住的The Lyme Inn，虽然名为Inn，但论硬件、论配置、论服务，都更为高档。房间布置古朴典雅，床铺舒适整洁，就连早餐，也是与Inn标配的 continental breakfast 不同的 hot breakfast 。住了一晚，我真是被这家百年老店吸了粉，这家旅店，恐怕也是这次旅行中住得第二舒服的了（第一是当之无愧的纽约柏悦）。

吃完早餐，我们就沿 10 号路南下围着 Dartmouth College 转了一圈。之后，则 I 91 转 10 号路北上，来到 302 与 112 的交口上。

112 又名 Kancamagus Highway ，恐怕是 New Hampshire 最有名的赏景大道了。虽然离红叶满山的盛况仍有一周，但这渐变的美景已是赏心悦目。可惜一路上最美的地方都不能停车，不得照相记录。

沿着 112，我们来到与 I 93 相交的 Lincoln。 Franconia Notch State Park 即在此地。我们去了 The Flume Gorge，这是一处更像中国景点的地方，栈道修得非常完满，一路景观也十分秀丽。可惜老妈毕竟是上了年纪，只是爬了这高峡，便已累得气喘吁吁，于是之后行程内的爬山规划便被我所删去。不过这个高峡瀑布，比之纽约那些小打小闹的，更是气势磅礴，连绵不绝，非常壮美，五星推荐。

游完瀑布，我们继续沿 I 93 北上。虽然是高速，路边仍有许多匝道让我们停车观景。开过 Cannon Mountain 后，在左侧有一大片幽蓝的镜面嵌在树林中，美得惊人。此处即是 Echo Lake。其实我在网上的游记中也听说有个 Echo Lake State Park 非常美丽，但是查了此处并非是那个州立公园的我，并未将其列入行程。今天傍晚来到那个州立公园后我才意识到可能是那位博主的谬记，他想提及的，可能只是这个 Echo Lake，却在探其姓名时张冠李戴了。

顺着 I 93，我们转去了 US 302。这是另一条赏景大道，不过景色确实不如 112。虽然我们开了它最出名的 位于 Lincoln 与 Conway 之间的那一段，但就我个人而言，还是更喜欢它在 Vermont 的那一段。不过这条赏景大道列名于 NSB 中，恐怕还是因为它的历史意义。货币银行学中提到的 Bretton Woods System，即美元与黄金挂钩的布雷顿森林体系，便是在位于滑雪胜地的 Bretton Woods 的 Mount Washington Hotel 中协定的。另外，Conway 市内的小火车站，也非常可爱。

越过 Conway，便是 White Mountain National Forest 的 Lake Region。无奈天色已晚，我们只能在夜色中边赶路，边欣赏湖景了。

经过了漫长的近四小时的车程，我们来到了位于 Bangor 的 Best Western White House。这也是一个有历史感的酒店，可惜没有 The Lyme Inn 那么惊艳，除了窗外的星光。
